Call our office for advice if a bracket or wire is loosened. The bracket may need to be rebonded or re-cemented.
Sometimes discomfort caused by a wire on your braces can be resolved by pushing the wire away from the irritated area. If the wire will not move, try covering the end of it with a small amount of wax. If you cannot resolve the wire irritation, call our office for an appointment.
If a separator falls out, it typically does not need to be replaced, unless we have instructed otherwise.
After your braces are placed and after routine adjustment appointments, you will likely feel some soreness or discomfort. You may take acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help relieve any soreness.
